Shock against a Frozen target

- Does Shock force a Frozen unit to activate?
- Answer
- No. Against a Frozen target Shock removes Freeze instead, and does nothing else.
- 900.15aThe Freeze branch is checked before the activation branch, so this is not a choice — a Frozen target always takes the Freeze removal.
- 900.15bUp to 3 seconds of Freeze are removed. If that empties the timer, Freeze is cleared outright.
- 900.15cThis means stacking Freeze and Shock on the same board works against you: your Shocks spend themselves thawing your own Freezes rather than forcing activations.
- 900.15dShock also does nothing to an untargetable unit or one with no ability.
